I love doing mine, I feel proud and it tastes so much better then the almond milk in stores. I use it everywhere, in my smoothies, recipes, coffee and tea. Dip you cookies in it = Heaven.
1. Measure 1 cup of nuts and cover them with water. Soak them for 8 hours.
2 .8 hours later, rinse your nuts. Add your soaked nuts in your blender.
3. Add 4 cups of water and blend. Line a jug with a nut milk bag or a cheesecloth, pantyhose.
4. Pour the mix into the jug and squeeze.
Your done :)

I have yet to make my own almond milk. I will give this a try for sure. Your pictures are lovely too! Hope your enjoying yourself these days. :)

DeleteLovely! I've spotted mesh cloth in Selby's, not too far from where I live, so I'll definitely try making my own milk soon.
