Hi everyone:)
I would like to talk to you about a problem that I have now solved. I used to be a really big coffee drinker. In winter I would have a lot more than in summer as everyone might also do... I used to drink about 4-5 cups in the morning...which is WAY to much. I would also have 3-4 cups at the end of the afternoon. I know...it's pretty heavy but that was be coffee addicted...but I am really happy to let you know that i've be cooling down my addiction a lot. I now have one cup in the morning, once in a while (not everyday) and never have another one during the day. It was hard though, it might look like very easy to stop but it isn't. I had big headaches when I didn't have my coffee...So I stopped slowly and ended up headaches less. I now have one big colorful smoothie in the morning or a fresh juice, and I'm perfectly okay with it. (it's also tastes way better than coffee)
I don't know it one of you have the same problem, but if you do it could be a really food idea to try and stop being coffee addicted.
Here is a simple coffee replacer that you can have first thing in the morning
Combine in your food processor; 1 Banana, 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of almond milk, 1 tbs of milled flax, 1 tbs of lemon juice.
If ever you also have the same problem I had well I hope you will be able to limit you consumption and enjoy a healthier drink to energize your mornings:) Smoothies are so good and so refreshing...full of good vitamins to start of your day.
Have a nice sunny day :)

Good on you for reducing the coffee intake! I'm not a coffee drinker at all but I do like my tea, I get something like 4 - 5 cups a day but sometimes I replace a few with some herbal infusions. They are nice too. But I do have a big smoothie in the morning if I'm not late for work. :)
ReplyDeleteI should try and have more tea! If ever you want to share your favorites it would be amazing!
